Since early May, the Orient Express Corinthian has been sailing the seas on its maiden voyages, including an inaugural cruise in the Mediterranean. This marks a significant milestone for this extraordinary vessel, built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire.

As part of this exceptional project, Métalobil manufactured the two 316L stainless steel mashrabiya screens installed on the port and starboard sides of the upper deck, bearing the insignia of the shipowner, Orient Express.
These bespoke components required extensive fabrication, precision and finishing work to meet the exacting standards of this iconic project.

At 220 metres long, with three tilting masts and 4,500 square metres of sail area, the Corinthian is the world’s largest sailing ship — a true technical feat in the world of cruise ships.Measuring 220 meters in length, with three tilting masts and 4,500 m² of sail area, the Corinthian is the largest sailing ship in the world—a true technical feat in the world of cruise liners.
