The Stone and the Hourglass

The Stone and the Hourglass, an installation created for the Tour Puchot at the Château de Caen, consists of several levels to be discovered progressively. At the summit, metal blocks are stacked; at the base, a cavity appears to hollow out as the material composing it flows through. A walkway allows visitors to observe this giant hourglass. The work questions our relationship with time, linking past and present, and with space, specifically how we utilize natural resources.
