The Grand Paris Express, the largest construction project of the 21st century, places culture and creation at the heart of its stations. More than 500 artworks are planned by 2031, including 70 unique creations resulting from dialogue between artists and architects, integrated from the design phase of the stations.

Within this framework, Métalobil is creating approximately thirty artworks, in connection with the Tandem initiative, which brings artists and territories together and makes contemporary creation accessible in travelers’ daily lives. Conceived as spaces both traversed and inhabited, the stations become places where art accompanies, transforms, and enriches each journey.

In collaboration with Eva Albarran & Co and 104 – CENTQUATRE-PARIS, Métalobil brings artistic gestures to life through materiality, light, and architectural scale, at the interface of the sensory and the constructed.

This project confirms Métalobil’s approach, where artistic excellence and technical precision converge, making each station a living space and a cultural destination in its own right.

Artistic direction is provided by José-Manuel Gonçalvès, development by Eva Albarran agency, and production by Métalobil.
