The first swathes of colour are currently appearing in the future Christ de Saclay station, on Line 18 of the Grand Paris Express. M\u00e9talobil is working with PALM on the creation of *Paysage chromatique en mouvement*, the artwork conceived by Ulla von Brandenburg for this space currently under development. <\/p>\n
Conceived in collaboration with the architects Atelier Novembre and Benthem Crouwel, the artwork covers walls and ceilings in a fragmented composition, made up of rhythms, colours and movement. On the scale of the station, the painting almost becomes architecture: it guides the flow of people, transforms perspectives and creates an experience of passage. <\/p>\n
Whilst M\u00e9talobil is already involved in several works within the Grand Paris Express\u2019s artistic programme\u2014notably Laurent Grasso\u2019s Ciel d\u2019argent at Ch\u00e2tillon-Montrouge station\u2014this project represents one of the first implementations undertaken under the framework contract dedicated to the creation of artworks in stations.<\/p>\n
Working alongside the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Grands Projets, CENTQUATRE-PARIS and Eva Albarran, M\u00e9talobil is helping to bring the project to fruition.<\/p>\n
A process where artistic vision, site constraints, materials, colours and precision of execution intersect \u2014 everything that makes up the tangible reality of a work integrated into the public space.<\/p>\n
