Autonomous solar street furniture
Armor Group approached us to create an original piece of street furniture featuring a new generation of photovoltaic film known as OPV. In addition to serving as seating, this piece must also showcase the performance of the photovoltaic panel—namely its suppleness and flexibility, its transparency, and its efficiency.
Two formal directions: the leaf; the possibilities offered by the plasticity of this material; the winding, the ring, and the sun—an eternal celestial body endlessly renewing the cycle of days and nights.
This field of references leads us to a solar object in both senses of the term. Solar because it captures energy, and solar through its circular form, designed as a discreet element that can interlock to repeat its geometry endlessly—an object with no beginning and no end.
