Digital Wave
— Paris (75) — 2016
Architect: Projective Architecture
Client: BPCE
The architecture firm Projective oversaw the fit-out of BPCE banks’ offices. To enhance the landings on levels R+6 and R+7, they created a spectacular timber structure embodying the overarching theme of the new offices: the digital wave.
The lattice of battens, not entirely undisciplined, consists of a main layer following a linear movement and a second, slightly offset layer that disrupts the linearity of the first. The battens are fixed to a set of timber arches. The whole structure is made of solid larch.
