Carmignac Foundation exhibits in its Museum garden a painting by the artist Ed Ruscha, the SEA OF DESIRE. It’s realized on a billboard of 12m large by 5m high, feets included it reaches 7m5 high.

This work in installed in Porquerolles Island, south east of France. Because strong winds take place in this region, the structure supports panels in aluminum honeycomb. Because of the marine environment, the metallic framework is in Corten steel.

This billboard is lightened by 5 lightings masts in the upper part, and 5 in the lower part. They are fixed in the back of the structure.

Carmignac Foundation became established in Porquerolles in 2017. The site presents a 2000m² contemporary art center and a 16 hectares garden with sculptures.
