Metalobil consists of a research department and a workshop. Going by the name of «design engineering», this coexistence enables us to create, design and manufacture unique objects in the field of environmental design: microarchitectures, poetical machines, works of art, claddings, special layouts, staircases, furniture, events scenography, exhibitions scenography, commercial stands, graphic engineering, signage systems, etc.
//
The customers, businesses, territorial authorities, public institutions and private individuals meet Métalobil in order to realize an original idea, more or less precise, and the team of Métalobil will help them implementing their projects, from the co-creation of the specifications to the final installation of the object and include the choice of adapted materials, the resolution of technical problems and the whole manufacturing of the objects. We often collaborate with other great creators: architects, artists, botanists, graphic designers, etc…
The heterogeneity of the shapes we create, the materials we use, and the creation fields in which we are involved, show how much we constantly question our own and singulars techniques of fabrication.
Thanks to the close relations between our research department and our workshop and thanks to our transversal skills, we can take into account the whole fulfilment of a creative idea and we can resolve complex requests.
We are for instance familiar with various technological systems (acoustic, dynamic, moving or interactive ones), various materials, and we can both provide unique manufacturing techniques and offer fair prices. Indeed, every sketch will take into account the whole price it would cost as soon as a project starts to get imagined, since we don’t need to deal with any middleman.
Either draughtsmen, or designers, or manufacturers, our productions are systems enriching the landscape and the architecture.
Each project is single, and we like exploring possibles interacting with the customers so that our productions always challenge and expand our limits:
