Vincent Mauger deploys a sculptural wave inspired by 3D computer meshes and data visualization. The texture of the swell projects us into a mental landscape where the sovereign power of water, capable of submerging territories and developments, has been frozen. This paused catastrophe scenario can be observed without risk, revealing its contours from different perspectives.

Installed in Avignon, the height of the installation corresponds to the water level of the 2003 flood.
