“So I’m going to the SMAC to see a concert. I get there early to have a drink before the ‘hurricane-guitar-bass-drums-totally-unhinged’, I walk into the venue, and there’s a bar that looks absolutely incredible. I want a beer even more—I can even say I want to try it out. It draws me in like a buzzing pollinator to a pear… pear tart.
I run my hands over the bar: it’s the real deal, raw and rugged, but it’s also poetry in a 500-kilo bar. It’s soft to the touch, it’s hard, it’s rock. It makes me happy to drink a beer leaning on something like that—I must look good, like a real concert poster!”
— Short story by Jean Bernard Pouy

The bar structures were made of steel, the countertops are in Krion, and the cladding is made of textured silicone.
